Can I change to a different instructor?
Yes you can request for a different instructor but you need to give a reason for this. All our instructors are experience, qualified and trained.
Can I request a specific instructor?
Yes you can but we will appreciate you reason for this. We will be glad to work with you.
What if there’s no instructor in my area?
We can send an instructor to you. Terms and conditions applies.
Can I have a female instructor?
Yes you can but female instructors are not available in all of our branch. It depends on your location. You can contact us to find out.
Can I have instructor in my language?
We have instructors what speak different languages, yet it depends on your location if the instructor is available. You can contact us to find out.
Does the Instructor have insurance?
Yes they have insurance.
What if I just want to discuss something with a driving instructor?
Yes, you are free to discuss with our driver. You’ll have to provide your details via our contact us form to do so.
What are your operating hours?
We operate between 9am – 5pm. Monday – Friday. And 10am – 5pm on Saturday.
I’ve lost my instructor's contact details. How can I get their phone number?
Yes you can have your instructors contact. Kindly leave a message via our contact us form.
What qualifications do your Instructors have?
Our instructors are educated and have undergone series of training in the driving career.
How old do I have to be to register as a driving student?
We adhere with the regulation Federal Republic of Nigeria that vehicle drivers must be 18 years and above to be eligble to drive. Hence with admit and training person from 18 years and above in our school.
Can I learn with my car?
Yes you can but it has to pass all the requirement of being road worthy and approved for training.
Does my car need to be road certified or roadworthy?
Definitely it has to be. We adhere to the regulations on this regard.
How much does it cost?

Can I have more than one free session?
Yes you can.
Can I book and pay for a Defensive Driving Course at an Heritage Driving Schools Center?
Yes you can. Heritage Driving Schools have a series of training available for defensive driving. Contact us to find out which is best.
Can I pay with credit /debit card. Can I pay another way?
Yes you can but you will not be allowed to be on the road to drive untill you have your licence.
My licence has been taken away or is lost; can I still do a Defensive Driving Course (DDC)? What happens about the drive session?
Yes you can but you will not be allowed to be on the road to drive until you have your licence. We reserve you driving sessions till you have your licence
I’ve booked a course but now I can’t make it, can I have a refund?
We don’t offer refunds on documented payment but we reschedule your training when you are available.
What happens if I miss one of the sessions?
If you miss a session you are entitled to a makeup session. Terms and condition applies.
Do I have to complete all my sessions for the Defensive Driving Course (DDC) in the order suggested?
Yes you have to complete your training on DDC in the other required for you to be certified by HDS.
How long does classroom or simulation takes before I take a test drive on the road?

Can I attend a Defensive Driving Course (DDC) on a foreign licence?
Yes we offer international standard training. Still we will verify foreign licence before you can start your training

Who can book training via Driver Training for Fleets & Businesses?
You can book as a company or as an individual.
How many people can attend the training?
A minimum of 20 persons can attend. Contact us to know more.
I am the only one from my company and want to complete one of the group training sessions, can I just join in with another companies training?
We have customized training just for you. We offer exclusive training for each organization so you will not be allowed to join.
How does my company pay for training?
You company pays directly to HDS for all training we carry out. Please contact us to find out more.
How do I replace my lost Drivers Permit?
You can get another drivers permit. Contact us to find out how.
How do I find out the road rules in another country?
Normally we offer specialized training which includes what is acceptable internationally. Yet driving rules some time varies from state to state and in each country.
Can I apply if I've lost my driver's licence?
Yes you can apply. Please contact us to know how.
Do I need to carry my licence with me at all times?
Yes while you drive it is recommended that you do. Also your licence serves as a means of identification so you carry it. Hence we strongly advise that you take care of your licence always and keep it safe.
Will my eyesight be tested when I apply for my driver's licence?
Yes your eye site will be tested.
Where can I get Learner or 'L' plates from?
At Heritage Driving Schools we help you with the process of having an L’ plate.
Can I apply for an International Drivers Permit in Heritage Driving Schools if I hold an overseas driver's licence?
We don’t do the process but we can recommend the best way around it
